THE PARTY Germania Place set the scene for the Lift a Spirit event, which raised funds for the health care services provided by Saint Joseph Hospital. THE SCENE More than 250 attendees—including Ryan Baker, sports anchor for CBS 2; retired Chicago Blackhawks Reid Simpson and Chris Chelios; and Dr. Roberta Luskin-Hawk, the hospital’s CEO—talked bidding strategies for the live auction over festive music and cocktails. THE BOTTOM LINE The event raised more than $87,000 for the health care needs of patients at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lincoln Park, especially those at Labouré Clinic and Family Birthplace.
