Hearts a Bluhm

| March 28, 2011 | Parties

Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute kicked off its Hearts a Bluhm campaign at Neiman Marcus. About 300 of Chicago’s warmest hearts, including Maggie Daley, Neil Bluhm, Columbia College Chicago president Warrick Carter and commissioner of the Chicago Department of Public Health Bechara Choucair, joined artist Elliott From, who painted a tribute heart for Mayor Daley as part of the evening’s festivities, which included catering by Food For Thought and Nuvo sparkling drinks. The Hearts a Bluhm exhibit featured 100 sculptures that bloomed along the Magnificent Mile in February to raise awareness during National Heart Month.
