Close to 600 Chicagoans flocked to 900 North Michigan Shops' Casting Call for their chance to be one of six locals featured in their new ad campaign "I AM CHICAGO". Restaurateur and Emmy Award Winning TV Personality Billy Dec and Emmy Award Winning Producer Emerald-Jane Hunter joined 900 Shops’ Sr. Marketing Director, Stacy Kolios, on the judging panel and lent their eyes and ears to the stories of campaign winner hopefuls. Digital correspondents, Showbiz Shelly and Jessica Zweig eased candidates’ nerves after casting. Anxious attendees waited in line for many hours to share their Chicago story, while entertained by the talent of electric violinist, Kat V, an impromptu performance by Brick Headz breakdancers, and enjoyed hair and make-up touch ups courtesy of Mario Tricoci and Bloomindgdale’s. Launching in summer 2016, “I AM CHICAGO” will symbolize the relationship between 900 Shops, which captures the true essence of Chicago with its mix of national and local boutiques, and those who have a true affinity for the city.
