Iconic Amsterdam-based design house Viktor & Rolf returns to ready-to-wear with a stunning new collection.
Since its founding in 1993, Viktor & Rolf has been renowned as one of the ultimate names in avant-garde fashion. Now, after taking a break from ready-to-wear, the label is back with a new collection—and for Chicago boutique owner Ikram Goldman, it’s essential wearing.
“They’re having a resurgence moment,” notes Goldman of the collection, adding, “They’re showing ready-to-wear again in a way that’s fresh, new, wearable and exciting. It highlights all the greatness of what Victor& Rolf is about and also brings in a new twist with modern pieces.”
Striking garments from Viktor & Rolf’s latest collection
From flower appliqué shift dresses for daytime (“Perfect for a business meeting or luncheon; these are just wonderful, elevated and wearable pieces,” says Goldman) to evening garments decked with chi on and ruffles and bows, the collection has something for every mood.
Chicago style guru Ikram Goldman.
Sums up Goldman, “It’s hitting all the right notes: day, evening, casual and fresh—all the things you want in a collection. It’s just spot on, and it’s a whole new evolution of Viktor & Rolf.” 15 E. Huron St.
