THE PARTY The Italian Expo Renaissance, an annual festival of all things Italian, took place amidst the intimate ambiance of Bridgeport Art Center, allowing Chicagoans to have a love affair with an array of fine Italian food, wine, fashion, tourism, arts and crafts, and luxury car displays. THE SCENE Through the three-day affair, guests mingled amongst luxury Italian cars from Fiat 500, Ferrari, Ducati and Lamborghini while savoring Italian cuisine and wines of Provenza and Ruffino. Saturday’s Fashion Night Out was a highlight of the weekend, with acclaimed master of ceremonies Bruno Abate and Celeste Johnson. Designers from Crystal B. Designs, Britney Petrina Devaris, Cettina, Sheila Rashid, Alma Wieser-Renovar, Michelle Tan, C/Fan, and Miriam Cecilia showcased their latest looks during an unbelievable fashion show competition judged by a panel comprised of Monika Dixon, Kasia Konair, Graham Kostic, Melissa Gamble, Amy Olsen and more. THE BOTTOM LINE Chicago’s socially best were able to indulge in an upscale Italian ambiance, enjoying enchanting live music and the city’s most alluring fashion designers while sampling from the who’s who of Italian food, wine, and culture.
