THE PARTY The Board of Harvard Club of Chicago held an award dinner at the Chicago Club to present its annual award for extraordinary community service to Chicago’s longest-serving U.S. attorney, Patrick Fitzgerald. The honoree spoke of his experience overseeing thousands of criminal prosecutions, his hands-on role in many national security cases and his most recent effort in partnership with the Chicago Police Department to reduce gun violence with Project Safe Neighborhoods. THE BOTTOM LINE The event, which serves as the Club’s only yearly fundraiser, raised approximately $20,000 toward scholarship and community service funds for Chicago-area students.
