Jean Banchet Awards

Chicago's most prominent culinary industry leaders came out to celebrate the city's best up and coming restaurants. Fat Rice chef, Chris Pandel, also of Swift & Sons, Balena and The Bristol, and The Blanchard were esteeemed winners at the 2016 Jean Banchet Awards. The evening was celebrated with cocktails and lite bites while benefits of evening went to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Jean Banchet Awards for Culinary Excellence is the only Chicago-based awards presentation that recognizes and rewards culinary originality and talent in the Chicagoland area.
