THE PARTY Human Rights Watch Chicago Committee held its annual Voices for Justice dinner in the Swissôtel’s Zurich Ballroom. Attended by a record 575 guests, the dinner and live auction honored human rights activists Farai Maguwu of Zimbabwe and Anis Hidayah of Indonesia. THE SCENE Deputy Program Director Tom Porteous gave the keynote address and presented the Alison Des Forges Award for Extraordinary Activism to Maguwu and Hidayah. Auction items like trips to South Africa and Paris helped raise $929,725 for the organization. Photos by Logan Futej
