Lake Geneva welcomed 55,000 visitors to the region for the 24th annual Winterfest, a 9 day celebration of the season. Despite frigid temperatures, visitors flocked to over two dozen indoor and outdoor events, from live music and dining experiences, to ice fishing derbies, hovercraft demonstrations, and Ice Castles. Snow sculptors from across the country competed for the prize in the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship, with Minnesota’s Team taking first place overall. Team Colorado 1 took first place in the People’s Choice category.
