Lanvin Lovin'

| May 30, 2013 | Parties

THE PARTY With neighbors like Christian Louboutin, Prada and Herm├Ęs, it was about time Lanvin announced its Chicago arrival with a cocktail party at the brand’s fourth U.S. boutique. THE SCENE The evening’s co-hosts Whitney Lasky and Julie Latsko joined Lanvin Executive Vice President Cecile Andrau and Toni Palumbo, director of the Chicago boutique, for an evening of shopping to benefit the Costume Council of the Chicago History Museum. THE HIGHLIGHS Despite the evening’s downpour of rain, the crowd came out to shop the Alber Elbaz-designed selection of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, jewelry and shoes. We were oogling the brand’s signature flats for spring, as well as the bridal gowns—which are, interestingly, housed within inches of pieces from the swoon-worthy children’s collection.
