THE PLAYERS Attendees included Alzheimer’s Association founder Jerome Stone; Rita Hayworth’s daughter Princess Yasmin Aga Khan; Steering Committee gala chair June Barnard; Alzheimer’s Association President and CEO Harry Johns; Secretary of State Jesse White; and Dawn Hasbrouck, who opened the evening as the guest emcee. THE SCENE The night began with a cocktail reception and music by Peter Oprisko, followed by a three-course meal. Among the stunning auction items was a custom necklace designed by Rona Pfeiffer (Michelle Pfeiffer’s sister-in-law) that was featured in the Tim Burton film Dark Shadows. Guests later enjoyed dancing to the sensational sounds of Lynne Jordan & the Shivers.
