Prepare to be amazed by the new magic-themed prix fixe menu at Lockwood Restaurant & Bar. Inside the historic Palmer House Hilton hotel, new Executive Chef Jason Schroeder (Chop Shop) and pastry chef Walleska Cianfanelli (Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile) have a few tricks up their sleeves exclusively for guests heading to the hotel’s Magic Parlour for a performance by award-winning magician Dennis Watkins. Sure to astound, the three-course dinner includes delectable bites like roasted chicken with wild mushrooms and a sunchoke puree, before finishing with a magical brownie bar, adorned with flecks of edible 14K gold and revealed out of a smoking, mystical box. Expect an evening filled with mind-reading, slight of hand and delicious morsels that taste like pure magic. 17 E. Monroe St., 312.917.3404
