THE PARTY The Chicago Loop Alliance Foundation celebrated the thriving downtown neighborhood with its seventh annual black-tie gala at the Art Institute of Chicago’s Modern Wing. THE SCENE More than 460 guests sipped cocktails in Terzo Piano and on the Bluhm Family Terrace overlooking Millennium Park before enjoying a three-course American fusion-themed dinner in the Griffin Court alongside music by the Bill Pollack Orchestra. THE HIGHLIGHTS Co-chairs Mary Ellen Smith of Golub & Company and Bill Burfeind of Turner Construction Company, along with presenting sponsor Pressure Washing Systems, helped raise $188,300 for the organization, which cultivates and supports cultural initiatives within the Loop.
