THE PARTY The Ryan Licht Sang Bipolar Foundation hosted its sixth annual Medical Briefing Luncheon at The Casino. THE PLAYERS The guest list of 165 included Bill Zwecker, who welcomed attendees; Joyce Sang, one of the foundation’s founders; and event co-chairs Mamie Walton, Abby O’Neil and Marla London. A panel discussion featured leading doctors in the field of bipolar disorder: Karen Swartz, Janet Wozniak, Andrew Nierenberg, Barbara Mason and Ellen Frank. THE BOTTOM LINE Funds raised will support the upcoming Adolescent Depression Awareness Program training in Chicago and further the org’s mission to support research for early-onset bipolar disorder.
