THE PARTY More than 300 of the city’s philanthropic set donned their best masquerade attire at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago in support of the Lyon Family Foundation’s fourth annual Hoosier Ball, which raised nearly $500,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. THE PEOPLE Lyon Family Foundation executive director Alexandra Lyon Singer headed the gala with her husband, Brian Singer, and special host (and former Apprentice winner) Bill Rancic. DESEDA founder and event sponsor Sarah Somers also made an appearance, along with Towne & Oak owner Elaina Vazquez and many others. THE PINNACLE Partygoers sipped on specially crafted cocktails while snacking on Italian-inspired fare, dim sum stations and decadent bites from the raw bar, as well as handcrafted desserts by acclaimed Four Seasons pastry chef Juan Gutierrez, amid tunes spun by DJ Matt Roan. A live auction ensued—featuring prizes from exotic trips to luxury art to private dinners sponsored by Ferrari Lake Forest—followed by performances by Élan Artists and energetic games of blackjack, roulette and poker.
