The Party
A party at the quirky Redmoon Theater is a guaranteed evening of fun, but when the night benefits a heart-touching organization like Camp Kesem, which provides free summer-camp experiences for the children of cancer patients, it’s sure to be a night to remember—and the nonprofit’s inaugural Magic Ball was just that.
The People
Revelers watched in awe as aerialists served Champagne while hanging from a chandelier, and jovial performers served drinks from decked-out vintage bicycles. The fun continued with a series of nostalgic summer camp-inspired activities—ballgoers participated in the tradition of choosing a camp name and crafted “luminary bags” to honor someone in their life affected by cancer.
Best in Show
Following a delicious seated dinner from G Catering + Events and a lively auction, partygoers tore up the dance floor to the tune of the popular Don Cagen Orchestra. At evening’s end, $735,000 was raised—a sum that will provide an unforgettable camp experience to nearly 1,500 children this summer. Truly magical! –Photos courtesy of T & S Hughes Photography
