Making a Spectacle

| May 7, 2013 | Parties National

The Party Spectacle Lunatique was the first fundraiser held at Redmoon Theater’s new 57,000-square-foot home in Pilsen. The Scene Among the 1,300 guests were Gigi Pritzker, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and Matt Moog, winner of Redmoon’s inaugural Community Galvanizer Award. Known for its unique brand of spectacle, the company transformed the space into an interactive art experience, where refilling a glass of bubbly was as easy as looking to the aerial artist hanging overhead with a bottle of Champagne. The Bottom line More than $400,000 was raised for Redmoon’s programming and community engagement. Photos by Al Sayed
