What first sparked your interest in this business?
Growing up in Naperville, IL, Chris spent a lot of time with his grandparents who lived near Mitsuwa Marketplace in Chicago. Between regular visits to the market, dining out at Japanese restaurants often, and helping his grandmother in the kitchen, Chris developed a passion for food and traditional Japanese cuisine.

Mansion on Rush is an intimate sushi, seafood, & steak restaurant, bar, and Champagne Lounge in Chicago's exclusive downtown dining and drinking destination.
What is the ethos behind the business?
Mansion on Rush has a dual kitchen set up featuring hot and cold items. The expansive sushi menu features a variety of traditional and innovative Maki, Sashimi, and Nigiri to delight guests. Upon entering Mansion on Rush, patrons are welcomed into a sleek, stylish interior, with global music, delectable fare, and the highest level of service.

Representing ultimate luxury, The Champagne Lounge is an intimate and opulent space within Mansion on Rush.
