Born into the world of weddings, this Modern Man was exposed early to event by his familial legacy. His mother and grandmother sewed wedding gowns; his great-grandmother sewed wedding gowns; his great-grandmother taught him everything she new about flowers, and his great-aunt taught Ellsworth-Taylor how to bake wedding cakes in junior high, a skill he used to fund his first card. “I’ve been in this industry my entire life— TAYLOR & CO is who I am to my core and represents the best of my family,” he shares. These talents and invaluable knowledge have served TAYLOR & CO, which is now celebrated for its distinctive decor rental service and custom-built designs.
This savvy event expert draws inspiration from diverse source, such as nature, music, classical films and architecture. “I love looking at old historic buildings, letting my imagination run wild about all the wonderful things that may have happened under that roof,” says Ellsworth-Taylor. “This translates to the type of decor we curate and build at TAYLOR & CO; we want everything we do to invoke nostalgia, which is the secret to unforgettable events.” Beyond design Ellsworth-Taylor treats his clients like dear friends and shares in the excitement of their special days.
The best advice this Modern Man received comes from his grandparents. His grandpa Taylor said, “Your smile is your logo, your personality is your business card, and how you leave others feeling is your trademark.”
