Molto Bene

| March 19, 2014 | Parties

The flavors of the Piedmont region of Italy took center stage during an intimate private dinner hosted by the Italian Trade Commission and Eataly at the food emporium’s then-unopened Baffo restaurant. Approximately 50 VIP guests conversed over cocktails before sitting down to an elegant meal of agnolotti with shaved white truffles, Piedmontese strip steak and chocolate amaretto pudding. During the dinner, Nicola Farinetti, the son of one of Eataly’s founding partners, announced that the new Chicago location is dedicated to Oak Park native (and lover of all things Italian) Ernest Hemingway. –Photos by Donna Binbek
