The Party With this year’s theme, An Evening Under the Harvest Moon, more than 265 guests gathered at the House of Blues in Chicago to celebrate The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem’s eighth annual benefit. The scene Supporters of the event indulged in hors d’oeuvres with cocktails in hand while dancing the night away to a performance by Chicago rock ‘n’ roll cover band Forget Hannah. The evening also featured NorthShore’s ever-popular Heads & Tails raffle game, a silent auction and a touching video presentation from a family who accessed care from the Infant Special Care Unit. The Players Murray Ancell, executive director of NorthShore Foundation; Stephanie Harper Stefanik, board chair; and benefit co-chairs Liz Strain and Kelley Kirkley all contributed to the evening’s success. The Bottom Line The benefit raised more than $85,000 to support NorthShore Research Institute’s efforts to find a cure for Cerebral Palsy in newborns, as well as the Associate Board’s Emergency Fund, which helps provide life-saving care in the Infant Special Care Unit at NorthShore Evanston Hospital.
