THE PARTY The Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA) held its 33rd annual benefit, Defining Leadership through Engagement, at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. THE PLAYERS Keynote speaker Mayor Rahm Emanuel praised local contractors, officials and community leaders (including Jamie Rhee, Alderman Ray Suarez and Rosemarie Andolino) who have contributed to Chicago’s innovative infrastructure investments in the past year. THE BOTTOM LINE The evening celebrated Chicago’s Hispanic political and business leadership accomplishments within organizations like the United Neighborhood Organization and the Chicago Housing Authority.
