Although other venues in the city may sell themselves as a “one-stop-shop,” it’s hard to come by an option that’s able to boast world-class event space, food & beverage, hotel accommodations, and all the benefits a landmark site like Navy Pier offers.
For weddings especially, Offshore Rooftop not only provides the convenience that you seek as the wedding party – it allows you to transform a location into a destination for your guests. From the rehearsal dinner to the morning after brunch, there's no need to leave (or worry about transportation for guests)! There are spaces that can accommodate all the weekend's festivities – all with different themes, layouts, and food selections.
2. What makes your brand a “hidden gem”?
Despite the reputation of being the world’s largest rooftop, Offshore is, in itself, a hidden gem. Still fairly new to the scene, Offshore was installed atop Chicago’s Navy Pier in 2019 taking advantage of untapped potential above the iconic landmark location.
Stretching nearly a half mile out into Lake Michigan affords this expansive, hidden rooftop patio stunning, panoramic views that you can’t find anywhere else.

4. What would you like to be the new trend for weddings?
If we could pitch a new trend, it would be to ditch the trend entirely! Weddings should be less about keeping up with what’s topical now and more about curating a day that feels authentically you.
Maybe you’re a foodie that’s dreamt of a formal restaurant-style, sit-down dinner or a whole lineup of stations that mimic your favorite food festival. Perhaps you’re all about the party and show-stopping décor or entertainment are paramount. 5. What do you think is essential for any wedding?
These days, an “experience” feels like a critical ask for most weddings. You’ve brought together all the people you love, and you want to give them an extra something special to do that they’ll remember forever! And, around here, firework viewing easily tops the list.
