Join beer-loving locals at this year's ZooBrew event, held at the Brookfield Zoo.

Chicago Craft Beer Festival: Have barrels of fun at the sixth annual beer festival in Lincoln Park. Guests can sample from over 70 specialty brews, offered by more than 35 local and national breweries, and take home a commemorative glass. South Loop Beer and Cider Fest: Share a hard cider with pals and celebrate summer at this South Loop fest. With a superb selection, there’s no shortage of tasting opportunities. Attendees can also munch on local food-truck goodies while jamming out to live music from Zydeco Voodoo. Micro Brew Review: Waste not, want not at the largest zero-waste beer festival in the Midwest. This Oak Park event features small-batch offerings from local brewers, including Lunar Brewing Co. and Saint Errant Brewery. All proceeds from this hoppin’ get-together will go to Seven Generations Ahead, an organization that promotes ecologically sustainable communities. August 19, 3PM, tickets from $55, 100 N. Chicago Beer Fest: Say cheers at this River North-based festival. Guests can sample over 25 beers from multiple breweries while socializing with other beer lovers. ZooBrew: Hosted by Blue Moon Brewing Company, the fifth annual beer tasting event held at Brookfield Zoo, will be sure to quench guests’ thirst. Attendees can taste 80 types of ales, lagers, stouts, porters and malts from 35 breweries, all while strolling the zoo grounds.
