THE PARTY The internationally acclaimed Hamburg Ballet made its Chicago debut at The Harris Theater for Music and Dance, where the company performed the full-length ballet Nijinsky, which was created by its director and chief choreographer of 40 years, John Neumeier. THE PLAYERS Mayor Rahm Emanuel continued his support of Chicago’s cultural scene by attending the preperformance reception with theater President and Managing Director Michael Tiknis, board members, and consul generals, plus officials representing six countries.
