Chicago’s finest chefs and restaurateurs were welcomed into a private space in The Ivy Room At Tree Studios to escape their kitchens for the evening and celebrate CS magazine’s annual Restaurant Issue and the Modern Luxury Restaurant Awards. The Restaurant Awards honored five sensational chefs from our editorial feature in the July/August issue. Chefs and industry influencers mingled and enjoyed bites and cocktails from The Ivy Room At Tree Studios as well as Stella Artois
while listening to entertainment by Cagen Music. “Best New Restaurant” award went to Elske, “Chef on the Rise,” went to Michael Simmons of Café Marie-Jeanne, and Smyth won “Restaurant of the Year.” Each winner was gifted with Le Creuset pots and a plaque by Recognition Corporation.
