If there’s one Chicago neighborhood that celebrates the possibilities of design, it’s River North, where the Mart looms large and dozens of showrooms beckon. That’s particularly true on Sept. 6, as the River North Design District Fall Gallery Walk returns for a ninth year.

Open to the public, this year’s event will showcase artwork by some of today’s most influential working artists, such as Sam Globe, Martina Nehrling, Bobbi Meier, Diana Noh and more. Participating art galleries and showrooms, including City Haus Chicago, Studio41, Alma Art + Interiors, among several others, will extend their hours from 5 to 8 p.m. during the gallery walk.

Executive Director of RNDD Jill Maremont shares, “In a world where exclusivity often prevails, this event stands as a beacon of inclusivity, offering free access to all who seek inspiration and beauty. The showrooms serve as dynamic canvases for boundless creativity, inviting every visitor to envision their own unique artistic journey within their home sanctuaries,” Maremont says.
