Saving Grace

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s fifth annual Kawasaki Disease Dinner, held at a private club, was a night of success and hope. More than 200 guests enjoyed inspiring patient stories, research updates and education on Kawasaki disease, a rare pediatric illness that affects the blood vessels. By the night’s end, the event—chaired by Margery and Richard Feitler, Ellen and Bobby Largay, and Eve and Randy Rogers (all of whom have daughters whose lives were saved by Lurie Children’s Kawasaki disease specialists)—raised more than $100,000, ending the evening on a bright note! –Photos by Jan Terry
