THE PARTY Goodman Theatre kicked off its new season with a benefit at the Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago. THE SCENE More than 430 guests gathered for cocktails and a three-course meal around centerpieces by Kehoe Designs. Attendees were then transported to the Goodman for the opening night performance of John Logan’s Red. THE HIGHLIGHTS The event’s honorees included Patricia Cox, Madeleine Grynsztejn, John Logan and James Rondeau, and in total, the evening raised a record $450,000.
