With views of the Chicago River, guests enjoyed cocktails as the CoverGirls entertained with a high-energy performance on electric violins. After dinner, Chief Scientific Officer Rick Lieber and Chief Medical Officer James Silwa led a science lesson on defying gravity and utilizing muscle systems.

Tony Award-winning singer and actress Idina Menzel performed to a heartfelt video montage of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab patient’s journeys. Afterward, she engaged in a Q&A with COO Laura Ferrio and and connected with young patients. The event raised more than $4.3M to support advances in science, care and recoveries at the hospital.
