Chicago Children’s Theatre made quite the scene at its 10th annual gala. Honorary chairs Gov. Pat Quinn and Mayor Rahm Emanuel mingled with guests at Terzo Piano before descending upon the Art Institute of Chicago’s Modern Wing for an exciting seated dinner where, during the main course, Gov. Quinn took the podium to announce an incredible $5 million state investment to help create a permanent home for the beloved theater company. And that’s not all: The evening raised more than $325,000 to help CCT continue to entertain and inspire kids and adults alike. Talk about great reviews! –Photos by Charles Osgood
