The English-Speaking Union’s Chicago branch hosted a sold-out event for its fifth annual New Year’s Eve Bash at the Casino in Chicago. The chairs of the English regency-themed event, Courtney Pitt and Brian White, greeted the guests while servers donned their most regal costumes (powdered wigs and pink tuxedos included!) to serve confections and cocktails. When entering the ballroom, one could hardly miss the towering pink, white and black feathered centerpieces before enjoying a dinner of lobster thermidor and filet mignon. People kicked off their shoes and hit the dance floor after dinner, bringing in the new year in grand style.
