New St. Regis Chicago hot spot Tre Dita celebrated its grand opening with a night that featured both the delicious flavors of Tuscany and a celeb-filled, see-and-be-seen crowd. Guests sipped select wines and indulged in cheeses, salumi and signature bites from chef Evan Funke while enjoying sweeping views of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan through the restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows.
Esteemed Chicagoans in attendance included actor Jim Belushi, Corey Hendrix from The Bear, and former Mayor of Chicago Lori Lightfoot.
Befitting the festive mood, in style, the evening featured espresso martinis set on a Pegasus ice sculpture, an artist who live-illustrated a Roman neoclassical scene and chef Funke personally hand-carving the restaurant’s signature steak dish, bistecca alla Fiorentina.
