Brimming with covetable sneaker and apparel brands, Stadium Goods has unveiled its first Chicago storefront. The two-level emporium from brand founders John McPheters and Jed Stiller is a 6,000-square-foot-plus shrine to high-end labels oozing streetwear cred, complete with an epic 16-foot-high “Stadium” shoe wall filled with 800 unique sneakers. “Being on the Magnificent Mile, we’re in the company of some of the finest luxury brands in the world,” says Stiller. “The products we sell are luxury items for this generation, so we fit right in.”
Offerings include in-demand brands like Jordan, Nike, Supreme, Off-White and Kaws, as well as the new in-house STADIUM line. “STADIUM represents achievement and wisdom gained, not gifted,” says Greig Bennett, Stadium Goods’ vice president of brand creative and head designer. “It’s clothing for the ambitious that embodies the culture and hustle of sneakers and streetwear in every stitch.” The 11-piece collection includes a crisp rugby sweater, an on-trend tie-dye hoodie, a classic leather varsity jacket and sweatshirt combo, and more. Says Bennett, “It was important to me to build these pieces from premium materials with a classic aesthetic for the person who knows what time it is. STADIUM signals you’ve arrived.” 60 E. Walton St.
