In the past year life has changed. Restaurants closed, concerts were canceled, and masks were put on. Since the pandemic began almost 12 months ago, people have spent more time at home, to protect themselves and to protect others.
In the midst of the pandemic came a desire for homeowners to improve their outdoor living space, to not only endure the global lockdown, but to thrive in it. And when homeowners in the Chicago area looked to improve their outdoor living space, they entrusted Mariani Landscape.
Maraini Landscaping has been a staple on the North Shore of Chicago since Frank Mariani took over his father’s business at the age of 19. Following his father’s passing, Frank decided to not attend college and sink all of his time into helping the business succeed. “I figured that if I was going to get up at 4:30 AM every day, I wanted to do more than simply cut grass. I worked long, hard days and started taking night classes in horticulture and business management. I knew in order to expand, I needed to bring on the right people” says Frank.
Since then, Mariani Landscaping, has expanded into “the largest residential landscape company in the U.S.” Their talented team of designers, architects and builders manage over 500 accounts, all of which they strive earnestly to satisfy.
This year though, Mariani Landscape has increased their focus on creating the perfect space for people enjoy during the pandemic. They create “architecture that requires less maintenance, celebrates native plants, and flourishes and grows more beautiful year after year with organic treatments vs. chemicals,” he notes.
To help people “do more at home and in a socially responsible way, the opportunities are endless,” says Frank. To date, interest in many different forms of outdoor amusement, such as “dining and entertaining areas, kitchens, vegetable and herb gardens, butterfly gardens, fire features, pools, even spas and tennis courts,” he says.
Mariani Landscaping hopes to keep people entertained at their homes into the colder months as well as they have seen interest in 4-season porches and outdoor firepits. Frank sees no time like the present to begin construction. “Now is the time to get started so your space is ready to go once the warm weather returns,” he says.
Customer needs are Mariani’s top priority, and their focus on your property will continue after the last tree is planted, or the last paver is laid. Their motto "our next project will be our best project" speaks to their 60 years of top-class service.
