THE PARTY Valerie Steele, director and chief curator of The Museum at FIT, celebrated the first signing appearance of her new, limited-edition book, The Impossible Collection of Fashion, hosted by her publisher Assouline, Kelly Golden of Neapolitan Collection and FIJI Water. THE PLAYERS Cindy Galvin, owner of MAZE Home, Patty Simpson, Shauna Montgomery, Eve Rogers and Julie Antonatos were among the 120 guests. THE SCENE Following lunch, Golden introduced 40 looks from her boutique, including Valentino, Prada and Lanvin, in honor of Steele’s subject: 100 of the most iconic dresses of the 20th century.
