The Party
During the luncheon, Steppenwolf Artistic Director Martha Lavey honored Emmy-, Tony- and two-time Golden Globe Award winner Mary-Louise Parker with an Inside the Actors Studio-style review of her career as an actor.

The Scene
Sponsored by BMO Harris Bank and Hellen Zell, and co-chaired by Marlene Breslow-Blistein, Elizabeth Connelly, Kelly Epstein, Nene Foxhall, Donna La Pietra, Janet Melk and Jane Mody, the event, held at the JW Marriott Chicago,
raised more than $100,000 to support training for the next generation of young leaders in the arts.

The Highlights
“There are times when I’ve been onstage and never felt more alive. It’s like flying,” said Parker, best known for her roles in Weeds, RED, The West Wing and Angels in America. “Even after I leave the set thinking I didn’t do a great job, I feel like I did the right job.” Photos by Kyle Flubacker and Mark Campbell
