The Party: More than 200 guests attended the second annual Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraiser honoring ensemble member Martha Plimpton at the W Chicago City Center. The Players: Committee members Christie Hefner, Leslie Hindman, Candace Jordan, Donna LaPietra, Jan Melk, Lynn Lockwood Murphy, Smita Shah, Colette Cachey Smithburg, Helen Zell, Susan Payne, Elizabeth Connelly and Leigh Bienen helped raise more than $126,000 for Steppenwolf’s Professional Leadership Program with this event.
