Barneys New York hosts two afternoons of chic conversation and high fashion for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF.
THE PARTY
Stylish Chicagoans turned their lunch break into a philanthropic fashion break at Barneys New York and U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s second annual Designer Luncheon Series. Author, columnist and Barneys New York Creative Ambassador Simon Doonan hosted the event—along with chair of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s Midwest Regional Board of Directors, Wendy Serrino—in his signature cheeky and engaging style.
THE PEOPLE
Doonan hosted two wildly entertaining fashion panels with some of Barneys New York’s most sought-after designers. Designer Nili Lotan, jeweler Mark Davis and facialist Mila Moursi comprised the first panel; and designer Monique Lhuillier, perfumer Frédéric Malle and jewelry designer Brooke Garber Neidich took part in the second panel.
BEST IN SHOW
Energized by the delicious lunch and lively conversation (in one panel, Moursi spoke to the importance of toner in your skincare routine, and Lotan shared her breezy and low-maintenance vacation style), guests headed downstairs to shop—with 10 percent of the proceeds headed to UNICEF. Stylish and sweet! -Photos by Barry Brecheisen
