What motivated you to start your business?
The Chicago Lakefront is so beautiful, and during that time there wasn't a higher end dining experience in the city on the shoreline. We wanted to create a resort style experience on Lake Michigan with light and delicious fare, a dynamic space that showcased the beauty of the area and celebrated the beach for tourists and locals to enjoy. Chicagoans love to travel in the winter and stay put in the summer to enjoy all the city has to offer during the warmer months. Shore Club was designed to do just that!
What is something you constantly strive for?
We are constantly looking for ways to add and enhance experiences for our guests. Last year we added our pergola and beer garden for larger group dining experiences on our patio, and guests have loved it! It is perfect for groups of 20 to 40 guests.
What sets your brand or business apart?
The atmosphere of our location sets us apart with the cabanas on the sand and unobstructed views of the lake and beach for dining al fresco. We also are the perfect location for social and corporate events if you are looking for something unique and showing off a different part of the city than the concrete jungle while also being close to it.
Do you do anything that is signature to your brand?
Our cocktail program is definitely our signature! Events love featuring our branded real coconuts and our extensive frozen cocktail program.
What big news do you want to share?
We have such fun programming this summer at Shore Club. We have bocce and cornhole leagues, paint and sip by the beach, live music on Wednesdays, and of course our annual air and water show events coming up! Not to mention our Bachelorette Bash Cabana rentals for the perfect summer Bach parties!
