THE PARTY Michael Jordan’s Steak House hosted a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new Chicago location. THE PLAYERS Laurence Geller, president and CEO of Strategic Hotels & Resorts; Scottie Pippen and wife Larsa; David Zadikoff, CEO of Cornerstone Restaurant Group; and, of course, Michael Jordan were all in attendance alongside a throng of excited onlookers gathered outside. THE SCENE Executive Chef James O’Donnell prepared tastings of the restaurant’s signature upscale comfort food and top-notch USDA prime dry-aged steaks. Housed in the Mag Mile’s InterContinental Chicago, the 6,300-square-foot restaurant is the first venture between the hotel, Cornerstone Restaurant Group and the NBA legend.
