THE PARTY More than 270 poker players faced off at One Step Programs’ 2012 Charity Poker Tournament presented by Robert W. Baird & Co. and benefiting Children’s Oncology Services, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer. THE SCENE Spectators filled the River East Art Center, where players competed for $20,000 in prizes, including a grand prize seat to compete at the 2012 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
