Tucked along the grounds of Lincoln Park, steps from the lake and a short cab ride from downtown, the Chicago History Museum is known for their unforgettable events. From sipping cocktails next to one of Chicago’s first L cars to dancing the night away against a backdrop of lush gardens amongst the glittering city lights, the museum is the perfect place to celebrate your life-changing moments. We asked the museum to share three ways they charm wedding couple’s and their guests for a stand-out affair.

1. Beautiful Architecture - Our historic building features Georgian-style architecture, high ceilings, and large windows overlooking Lincoln Park. It is this historic significance that coincides with our couples own historic moments.
2. Outdoor Plaza -Our newly refreshed outdoor plaza is the dreamiest setting reminiscent of a scene from fan favorite Netflix series Brigderton. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens just off the steps of the museum makes for a striking ceremony celebration.

3. Large to Petite Celebrations - Our venue boasts the capacity to host up to 350 guests strolling reception style, 300 seated dinner with DJ or 260 seated dinner with orchestra for large celebrations as well as customized packages to celebrate in a petite way too. We believe that you should be able to celebrate life’s big moments in a big way—even with a small group.
