THE COUPLE Kelly Condon and Sean Smith were regulars at the same Chicago gym, but it took matching on Hinge to finally bring them together. After that, they never looked back. Sean proposed at The Viceroy rooftop on Kelly’s 30th birthday with roses and an emerald-cut ring.
THE DETAILS Their wedding was all about the color story: Kelly’s favorite hues, light blue and light green, were infused into every element of decor, from the invitation suite to the vintage Lambeth cake. “Bridesmaids got to pick their dresses, six in blue and six in green,” Kelly says. Baby’s breath bloomed against light blue delphinium and abundant greenery. It all made for a whimsical, playful aesthetic.
THE PARTY After a light-hearted ceremony that got 190 guests laughing, the party was on. The dance floor featured a monogram decal, and guests hit it with props: custom sunglasses and drink cups, glowsticks, and giant posters of the couple’s dogs, Louie and Maeve. Kelly changed into a second look for their first dance. “We skipped a couple of moves in the choreography but nailed the dip at the end!”
