For the Kids

| August 4, 2014 | Parties National

This summer, The Ritz-Carlton Chicago expects to host an extraordinary group of guests who will receive the VIP treatment for which the hotel is known—plus, they’ll get to sleep on bunk beds. Camp Kids Are Kids Chicago, a five-day urban experience for kids with cancer, will debut Aug. 10. In July, The Kensington Roof Garden atop the Parliament club hosted a fundraiser for the camp, drawing a swank crowd for a great cause. “Parliament donated everything,” says camp founder Blaine Blanchard, who co-hosted with former Bulls star Bill Cartwright. “The support has been overwhelming.” –Photos by Francis Son
