The Modern Ball at the Modern Wing

| October 10, 2014 | Parties

The Architecture & Design Society of the Art Institute of Chicago had it's exclusive biennial black tie gala to benefit the Art Institute's Department of Architecture and Design honoring David C. Hilliard and Helmut Jahn. Guests enjoyed an evening in the Modern Wing of the Art Institute with cocktails, dinner, live music, and dancing all while immersed in a custom-designed lighting installation by new media collaborative Luftwerk. Exclusive architecture and design-related items and experiences were offered to guests through a slient auction by Richard Wright. The proceeds raised during the evening will benefit the acquisitions, exhibitions and education outreach programs of the Art Institutes Department of Architecture & Design.
