This month, Modern Luxury, the owner of this magazine, is launching mensbook.com. The first thing to do, we decided, was to get some conversations started with the men in Chicago—the fellows who have a strong hand in making the city such a vibrant place to live. Please meet the top-notch financial adviser who’s a philanthropist (and a Crossfit wiz). We’ve recruited one of the city’s top photographers—as skilled with celebrities as he is with fashion. Here’s the stylish DJ who can always be found at the top parties in town (including this magazine’s memorable 20th anniversary bash). There’s a custom and bespoke menswear veteran who launched his own company. And, of course, we can’t forget the film composer who is an avid cyclist (and a scotch aficionado). In the coming months, you’ll be hearing a lot more about them—and from them. They have been tapped as inaugural members of The Committee, a council of gents across the country who will lend their knowledge to the site.
