Friends of Prentice took guests on an exciting journey in support of women’s health care at Passport to Prentice.

More than 400 guests traveled around the world in one night with a Passport to Prentice, the annual Friends of Prentice benefit at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago that raises funds to improve women’s health across the globe. The ballroom was decked out with an international flare, and belly dancers and other performers entertained throughout the evening.

Co-chairs Sharyl Mackey and Meghan Gill orchestrated the affair, which is Friends of Prentice’s main fundraiser. The night also delivered the organization’s largest grant to date to Dr. Emily S. Miller and her program COMPAS, which developed a care model for perinatal depression support.

During the live auction, guests bid generously on travel experiences, including a luxury trip to Dubai and Bali, which raised more than $30,000. That added to the evening’s grand total of nearly $1 million raised, which will allow the organization to continue to grant major gifts to deserving medical research and clinical care programs. ‒Sarah Ryan
