What is your best advice for engaged couples?

Listen to your vendors - trust their experience and recommendations. They know which companies work best together, what items are necessary, and when things need to actually be done. Take your time and enjoy the process, don't get caught up in the details.

What is something you constantly strive for?

I think its so important to ensure couples feel like they are working among friends. Creating trust and excitement so the entire process is enjoyable!! Being a part of one of the biggest days of someone's life is a privilege - one that those of us in the industry never tire of!

What is your favorite trend for weddings currently?

One of my favorite trends this year has been setting ceremonies in the round - it's more intimate and allows you to truly be surrounded by your friends and family in all directions. It gives everyone a great view and it is easier for you to look around and feel everyone's love surround you.

What would you like to be the new trend for weddings?

--Hype Dancers or ballroom dance instructors to get everyone up and on the dance floor. These aren't just for mitzvahs!

--Temporary tattoos, live artists or other simple, silly interactive elements

What sets your brand or business apart?

Quite literally - the views make Offshore one of a kind! There is no better place to showcase Chicago than from the very end of Navy Pier. To see the city in all its glory, with the sun setting behind the skyline, really is a magical feeling. Throw in the (free) fireworks in the summertime and there is absolutely no comparison.

What three words describe you or your business best?
