THE PARTY The Associate Board of the Harold E. Eisenberg Foundation hosted its fourth annual Eisenopoly event at Macy’s on State Street to support the group’s committment to gastrointestinal cancer research. THE SCENE A sold-out roster of 450 guests gathered in the Narcissus Room for a quick cocktail reception before the competition commenced. Held in Macy’s signature Walnut Room, the main event was a fast-paced night of playing tournament-style Monopoly on the charity’s customized boards. The night continued with a spread from one of Chicago’s favorite Mexican joints, Uncle Julio’s, a silent auction (we were caught by the Sports Fan’s Dream package and a signed ball from sportscaster Dick Vitale) and desserts, including organic cotton candy (yes, you read that right) from Spun Cotton Candy. THE HIGHLIGHTS This year’s Eisenopoly was the most successful one yet for the charity, raising more than $70,000. Photos by Donna Binbek Photography
